The Yat Guest House
The Yat is a unique guest house, where the best of the past meets the best of the new. Here ancient meets the latest technology in a harmonious way, respectful of Nature and the beauty of ancient materials. We have spring water on tap from a local spring but which is heated by means a ground source heat pump, with electricity supported by photo voltaic panels.

Birds abound in this peaceful hamlet. The garden is filled with flowers but you can contact people and keep in touch with the outside world (should you really wish to) with WiFi. Snuggle down in front of a log fire, where we have old fashioned reading in our library, and help yourself 24/7 to organic teas and coffee in our dining room.
Services
We serve a full English breakfast, with a choice of dishes, using organic ingredients whenever possible. Vegetarian options are available and special diets are catered for if ordered in advance. Tea and coffee facilities are available in the dining room for guests to help themselves whenever they wish.
A cot for infants under 2 years can be provided on request. Well behaved dogs are welcome. For horse riders, there are two fields in which horses can stay during spring through to autumn. There's also an outbuilding were the horses can be saddled. Packed lunches can be provided* for walkers and they can fill up bottles with our own spring water.
Do you have a special anniversary celebration, or just want to say thank you, or to make someone feel special? Why not have a candle lit dinner especially prepared for you, home made truffles delivered to your room, along with flowers and special bed linen?* We make our dishes up using organic produce, freshly made up for each person and with their likes and dislikes in mind.
Our house stands on the edge of the common, where you can walk for miles enjoying the wonderful views whilst your only companions will be sheep, wild horses and wild birds. Offa's Dyke path is five miles distant, since this is border country. There are also many hamlets with beautiful ancient churches, such as Rhulen, Cregrina, Colva and Aberedw.
