I feel this lodge is good value for money. It's warm, tidy, spacious, quiet, has breakfast included, easy to check in, and is only a short walk to Brooklands tram station, for those travelling into Manchester, Old Trafford etc.
There are a few nice pubs and restaurants nearby, and the management team were very quick, responsive and helpful, when my glasses accidently fell down the back of the shower system, and it had to be removed by maintenence, and posted on to my home address. I really appreciated how they handled this.
My only (minor) criticism, is that it'd be good if there was a curfew

My stay was great while I was there (the manager was on holiday, the lady looking after everything was amazing and helpful, feel sorry for her about the boss she has!) but the reason for the 1 star is because of the manager calling me up demanding money 2 weeks after my stay!! Very unprofessional, rude and no apology or sympathy for their own error. Agreed on when I'd be able to pay but she has gone and charged my card a couple weeks later anyway without my permission!! Be Aware of the manager!

Booked an apartment got just a room, shower not working properly, fridge not working, the room had a toilet type of smell, never saw anybody to complain to,. I went on the phone to them, but they weren't very helpful, wouldn't give me any compensation

Couple of nights stay at the brooklands lodge, seems to be in a nice area, rooms ok & breakfast left in the room for you, fridge smelt a bit of old milk but other than that the rest was ok.

Very nice place, central and clean. Would like to have feather pillows as couldn't get comfortable with man-made ones. Owner very sweet. Will definitely stay on my next visit to the area.

Great family run guest house in Manchester. I like the way each room has a fridge with your breakfast and a fully laid table to use. The bathroom was modern and clean. Parking right outside the house.
Next time I stay in the area, I'm sure to return.
