DTL was set up in 2002. Since then, it has been an interesting and exciting journey, building relationships with new clients and growing with them. We are pleased to say that, in spite of the economic challenges of our time, we are continuing to attract a steady stream of new clients to our practice.
David is the Managing Director. He qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1994, following which he became a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1996. With over 35 years' experience advising owner-managed businesses in accountancy and tax matters, he works hard to ensure the highest standard of service at DTL, which he set up in 2002.
HMRC's Personal tax accounts (PTAs) were launched in 2015. The service works as an online resource to allow taxpayers to review and update their details in real time. 09/09/2021 - More. If you think that you have paid too much tax to HMRC you can usually claim back any overpaid tax. There are special VAT rules that allow businesses to standard rate the supply of most non-residential and commercial land and buildings (known as the option to tax).

David and his team are very professional and knowledgeable. I don't see the team as my accountants, they treat me as a friend, and they give me advice regarding my tax matters just like when you talk to your friend when seeking solutions. I am extremely happy with the service and highly recommend them. They really do bring peace of mind, helping you sleep at night.
