As specialists within the Rolling Stock Sector we have developed an extensive client base, including Train Operating Company's (TOC's), OEM's, Overhaulers, Refurbishment & Modification companies, covering more than 50+ rail depots across the UK and Europe. This means we are uniquely placed to offer access to the most exciting opportunities in the industry for candidates seeking either temporary or permanent work.
Throughout the year, Clemtech attend Careers Transition Partnership (CTP) recruitment fairs to speak to HM Forces leavers about transitioning into the Rolling Stock sector. Our dedicated representatives attend to share their knowledge, and to provide an introduction to the career opportunities in the Rolling Stock industry.
Our IR35 Hub has been designed as an assistance tool, an easy-to-use information source to help both our clients and contractors with their preparations for the legislation changes. The official legislation is contained within the "Income Tax (Earnings & Pensions) Act 2003 (ITEPA), Chapter 10, Part 2", but is often referred to as "Off Payroll Working Rules", "Intermediaries Legislation" or more commonly as "IR35".
Later training package could not be accommodated as the ToC were due to receive new vehicles and would not be able to put them into service without vehicle maintainers. Modern Rolling Stock originally specified to require very little (but ongoing) cosmetic upkeep and avoid traditional C6 major refurbishment programmes.

Was approached by this agency regarding a job, contact was fine to start with, but as the only way to get paid is via an umbrella company or setting up my own limited company, I asked for a list of umbrella companies that they recommend as I'd like to know how much my actual hourly rate would be after deductions.
Helena said she would send over the list, four days later still waiting for the email.
If the job has gone or no longer active, common courtesy to let the candidate know is always a winner, but going quiet and not doing what you state you will do, will always make you look bad..
