Starborough Manor
Starborough Manor provides a beautiful setting for your wedding reception or party, either inside the house or in a marquee erected on the lawn. Situated at the end of a long, tree-lined drive, and set in its own beautiful grounds, was originally built in the 18th century and re-modelled in both the early and late 19th Century.

The house is in a parkland setting and overlooks Starborough Castle and moat. The manor of Sterborough can be traced back to the 14th century; the present manor was built after the original castle, on the island, was demolished on the orders of Oliver Cromwell in 1648 (the castle was replaced by a folly a century later).
Services
All our bedrooms and bathrooms are individually furnished to a very high standard with gloriously comfortable beds, pure Egyptian cotton sheets, large fluffy white towels and Penhaligon toiletries. Each bedroom has a flat screen Digital TV with freeview, radio, hairdryer, complimentary mineral water, and a hot drinks tray.
Starborough Manor provides a beautiful setting for your wedding reception or party, either inside the house or in a marquee erected on the lawn. We have two large, interconnecting reception rooms, with wonderful views over the gardens, the moat and castle and these elegant rooms are perfect for celebrations as they have large french doors onto the garden and guests may easily move inside and out.
Our clients have full use of our ballroom and drawing room, both of which have high ceilings, large windows and french doors opening onto the garden, moat and island. The ballroom can seat up to 50 people, depending on the layout of the room. We also have an elegant dining room, with hand painted chinoiserie silk wallpaper, which can seat up to 20 people.
Starborough Manor is situated between Lingfield and Edenbridge, off the B2028, between the villages of Dormansland and Marsh Green. Our postcode is TN8 5QY. M23 JCT 10 follow signs to East Grinstead on A264; after 2 miles turn left at roundabout onto B2028 to Lingfield. After 4.5 miles enter Lingfield, turn right at first roundabout, and left at the second roundabout, staying on B2028 (see below).

We were so excited to have our wedding this August at Starborough Manor. Daisy and Clive were unbelievably helpful across the past 2 years in helping us organise everything. We had some tipi's on their front lawn for 120 guests and Starborough provided the absolute perfect backdrop and setting for our wedding. Our guests absolutely loved the house, garden and moat setting, and everyone got wonderful photos outside on the lawns! The B&B is stunning, gorgeous spacious rooms with abundant space for our family and friends who stayed on site for the weekend. Highly recommend Starborough for any events

We were lucky enough to have our wedding in here in May 2018. We had a marquee on the lawn for 150 guests and the day was perfect from start to finish. Daisy and Clive were incredibly helpful during the build up to the big day and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We’ve had so many comments from guests since about the stunning venue. Thank you!

Starborough Manor is a beautiful high end B&B, set within stately grounds. The owners are very welcoming and friendly, without being intrusive. Their two working labs are equally charming and well trained. The breakfast is lovely and the property is kept very well. We recommend and a big thanks for a great stay!

Lovely setting for a wedding, loads of parking, shame as visitors couldn't see inside house.
