Our proprietor, Farhad Erfan, manages the gallery of thousands of magnificent carpets. Farhad travels to Iran, often deep into the countryside and mountains, to source the rugs and has links with small-scale home production projects in villages and tribal areas. He has built extensive contacts over the years with the Persian rug making business throughout Iran.
By purchasing direct and supervising his own production, Farhad can offer high quality rugs at much lower prices than most other retail outlets. He offers a friendly un-pressured service and expert advice if required. In our spacious showroom we have over 3000 Persian rugs individually chosen by Mr Farhad Erfan for their unique design, quality and durability.

PERSIAN TRIBAL RUGS is a retailer of genuine Persian rugs, runners, gabbehs, kilims, ceramics and tribal artefacts (nomadic saddlebags, cushions, etc). Some of the rugs are classed as 'Fine', while others are less densely knotted, giving a more nomadic or rustic look classed as 'Tribal'. No two rugs are identical.
