I believe in natural health and being empowered by taking responsibility for our own body, health and well-being. The repetitive actions of work, lifestyle, sports and hobbies, can put strains and stresses on our bodies which can cause persistent aches and pains. Emotional stresses can also have a huge impact on the body and mind which may manifest as physical discomforts, raised blood pressure or anxiety and insomnia.
Massage Therapy is a comprehensive and completely natural treatment which aids the body's own healing process to help alleviate these discomforts. I am currently just working from VB Health in Grasscroft, Saddleworth and currently unable to offer appointments at OCL Saddleworth Pool and Gym. Massage therapy makes a great gift and gift vouchers can be purchased from each location or ordered online.

Firstly, let's debunk one myth: stress is not necessarily a 'bad' thing. Without this brilliant ability to feel stress, humankind wouldn't have survived. Our ancestors used the onset of stress to alert them to a potential danger, such as a sabre-toothed tiger. Stress is primarily a physical response.
Stress targets the weakest part of our physiology or character; if you are prone to headaches or eczema, this will flare-up. If you have low levels of patience or tolerance for others, this will be the first area to present under times of stress. Stress isn't avoidable but it is manageable.
A key action in order to minimise risk is to identify stress-related problems as early as possible, so that action can be taken before serious stress-related illness occurs. There will be changes in the stressed person. These changes may be emotional, physical or behavioural, or a combination of all three.

Anything from everyday responsibilities like work and family to serious life events such as a new diagnosis, war, or the death of a loved one can trigger stress. For immediate, short-term situations, stress can be beneficial to your health. It can help you cope with potentially serious situations. Your body responds to stress by releasing hormones that increase your heart and breathing rates and ready your muscles to respond.
Massage is a form of physiotherapy, and one of the oldest forms of medicine dating back to ancient times. It is a comprehensive and completely natural treatment which aids the body's own healing processes and aims to bring the body back into balance. Massage generally deals with tight and aching muscles.
NO HANDS massage now accounts for at least 70% of the treatments I give. It's extremely popular, so why is it so popular and what exactly is NO HANDS massage all about?. NO HANDS massage is deep, releasing, rejuvenating and nourishing. It is a dynamic form of massage that is becoming popular across the world as one of the most powerful new therapeutic massage treatments available.

As a gym user and somebody who has worked in health and fitness for 7 years I know the importance of regular massage to aid recovery. This however progressed as I broke my leg in August 2016. A football injury which resulted in crutches and cast for 6 weeks... Prognosis wasn't great with NHS physio's eluding to upto 12 months out. 'Kinda' frustrating as I lead such an active lifestyle and getting back into competitive sport was something high up on the agenda... Fast forward to Feb 2016 and I was back playing football with (touch wood) zero aches and pains... The advice Vicky gave me and the manipulation

Vicky is a very professional massage therapist. She is qualified and knows how to adapt her treatments for her clients. She will work on specific areas to release muscle tension and I have always found her treatments highly effective. Whether it is a general massage for relaxation or treatment for specific aches and pains, I can highly recommend Vicky.

Treatment by Vicky has been always an experience I look forward to.
She is a professional with passion and knowledge.
Her help to me has been incredible and I could not thank her or recommend her treatments enough.
She has helped me on several occasions. Sometimes just to relive stress and sometimes to help with general muscle tension.
Her advice and home self help tips are equally valuable to me.
Thank you Vicky you are a star! ⭐️
