Chiropractic involves the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the joints, muscles and nerves. Chiropractors consider the entire physical and emotional well-being of each individual patient and tailor the treatment according to the patient's specific needs. Chiropractic is beneficial to people of all ages, from new-born to elderly, including expectant mothers!
History: A thorough history of your complaint will be taken and your Chiropractor will guide you to ascertain the relevant details. Examination: This consists of a series of joint, muscle and nerve tests to help determine the cause of your complaint. This includes: analysing your posture, assessing your movement and pinpointing the painful area.
The key difference is within the philosophy and foundation of how each profession was created. However, both use a variety of techniques to treat the joints, muscles and nerves of the entire body. It varies between patients. Discomfort is often experienced after the initial consultation as the painful area is stimulated.

Met Debbie earlier in October after a painful back condition suffered while walking in Kefalonia. As we were due out to Spain 3 weeks later until March next year, even trying to get a doctors appointment then subsequent treatment just wasn't going to happen. So booked Debbie, 7 sessions over 3 weeks, manipulation, exercises and ice packs all at regular intervals and can now say 4 weeks later I am no longer suffering and enjoying being in Spain from earlier this week and able to walk the distance we are used to. Take it a little steadier for a while but strength back almost. Thanks so much Debbie

I have visited Debbie on 3 occasions as i work on my computer a lot and constantly have a stiff neck and find that i tense up. I used to visit a chiropractor in portsmouth and when I moved I wanted someone local who was very well qualified and who was caring and thorough. My initial consultation was thorough and the treatment i received loosened up my neck. During the follow up treatments Debbie checked that my whole body was aligned - she didn't just treat one area. The fact that I was fully clothed at all times was a bonus. My partner has also visited her as he suffers from back pain and
