Hunston Mill House built in 1711, was the home of Mr & Mrs Hudson the Local Miller, that worked the Flour Mill which was converted in the sixty's to Mill Top & Mill Stone. Mill Top is accessed via an external staircase that is not suitable for children or less agile person. Were Mill Stone has an easy level access.
The sails were removed in 1901 from the Mill as a steam engine was added to grind the flour. Courtyard Cottage located at the back of the main house with its court yard garden and first floor bedroom is suitable for people staying with pets.

A relaxing break
Owners and staff very nice
The upstairs room in the mill was adequate, however please sort the noisey plumbing out, it wakes people up and it isn't fair hearing air locks Thumping away throughout the night.
The gas cooker is challenging to light, let's move from the fifties into the 21century, it would only cost 250 for one that worked.
There is a main road outside which at times was busy and traffic noise could interrupt peace and tranquility.
In all a pleasant stay, but not a refreshing, ' charge up your batteries' type of stay.
Its central to most places in the area.

Absolutely great. I took five days off to get cracking on my deadline. It worked. I was in Mill Stone cottage. The place is warm, inspiring, and quiet. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped. The bathroom great, and the bed big and warm. The village itself is charming. There are so many perks about this place that I can only suggest you come and see first hand. The only two things that I didn't like were the stale cookies and the broken hook behind the bedroom door. I am looking forward to my next stay.

Absolutely love this place. We have stayed twice now and every time we have not wanted to leave. The site manager and owner are warm and welcoming. They cater for families and couples with dogs being welcome free of charge. The facilities are clean and very comfortable with free wifi. Arundel and chichester are close by for shopping and sightseeing. If you are looking for a great place to take your dogs for a walk Witterings beach is also close at hand where dogs can have a good walk and run. Cannot say enough how lovely Hunston Mill is. We are looking forward to our next stay!

This is an absolutely fantastic place to stay. The main house is over 300 years old. Where else could you stay in a converted windmill!
The area itself is absolutely amazing. We went to west wittering one day for some sun and surf, and then to Arundel castle the next.
The couple who run the place are fantastic
Rooms are clean and beds are perfect
Thanks again!
