166 Photography is me, Carl. I live between the city of Lincoln & the Lincolnshire coast, but am available to photograph weddings and portraits throughout Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Nottinghamshire & anywhere else you want amazing wedding photography. I'm married to Lisa, who works with me on many weddings and we have an amazing son called Cooper (named after John Cooper Clarke, no matter what Lisa says).
As a documentary wedding photographer, my aim is to tell the story of your day through honest, beautiful photographs. Apart from during any group photos, I do not direct and there will never be the mention of the word "cheese". I'll get back to you as soon as possible, but if you haven't heard from me after a couple of days, please check your junk folder, as some email providers have a habit of putting me in there.

Every wedding is unique. My aim is to capture and celebrate this uniqueness creatively and without intrusion. I photograph your day in a documentary style, as I feel that capturing real moments make beautiful photographs that show the true story of your wedding day. To me, wedding photography is about telling the story of your wedding day.

We had Carl and Lisa as our Wedding photographers for our Wedding in June. My wife and I are so thrilled with the quality of the photos and will always cherish them.
They made everyone feel comfortable and at ease during the shoots and even managed to tame our mischievous 3 year old.

We honestly cannot recommend 166photography enough! Carl and Lisa were absolutely amazing on both our engagement shoot and our wedding day! They made the whole day so much more calm and relaxed.
We especially loved all the amazing natural photos that were captured throughout the day, and these are definitely our favourite. We have loved looking through these being able to relive our day, seeing everyone so happy and enjoying our day too!

166 Photography were incredible at capturing our wedding (and engagement shoot) and offered a really relaxed approach to capturing our day. Carl’s photography style of capturing the moment as it happens without staging shots creates beautiful and vibrant photographs and the fact that he also shoots using film too offers that extra something special. I would highly recommend Carl (and of course Lisa who supported on the day) if you are wanting stunning wedding photos that you will look back on in years to come and be able to relive that moment all over again.

We had our engagement photo shoot with Lisa & Carl. It was a fantastic experience for us, they are absolutely lovely and great at what they do! We took our dog with us and they were great with her too, getting some great photos of the 3 of us together.
We were a bit nervous but they put us at ease very quickly and the whole shoot felt very natural and relaxed not forced at all. The photos are amazing! Can't recommend them enough.

Carl and Lisa were incredible wedding photographers; they really could not have done any more for us. From their first consultation visit at our home, to our engagement shoot and finally the big day itself, they listened to what we wanted and did everything they could to facilitate our gorgeous photos. Our wedding album captures the mood of our day perfectly, and there are images within it that will forever hold more sentimental value to our family than they will ever know!

Carl and Lisa did the photos for our wedding. They were exceptional! Really helpful and interested in us and what we wanted, from the initial meeting through to the day of the wedding. On the day, they were with us from early on to get photos of my wife getting ready, through to the evening. Turnaround on the photos was quick and allowed us to relive the day. Really good quality natural shots- just what we wanted. 10/10 would recommend!
