Church fees, limousines, flowers, printing costs, catering etc will all increase the price of a funeral, however these are ALL optional, NOT essential! Funerals into Church or Burials, we charge an additional 50- 150 plus any extra fees incurred by the Church or burial ground. All Churches and burial grounds charge differing amounts for their services.
Services
During the following three years, as a result of the public demand for our services, it became essential to find larger premises. Whether or not this "legend" is true, one fact which unites the countless hundreds of families who have called on our service over the years, is how much this elegant building lends itself so naturally to its present purpose.
Our Service Chapel is FREE OF CHARGE to all who engage us, should you wish to hold a Small Intimate Service or Rosary here, prior to Burial, Cremation or Interment of Ashes. Plymyard Cemetery for example doesn't have chapel facilities, & not everyone wants a service in Church or at a Crematorium Chapel, so for small gatherings this is an ideal alternative option.
In 2012, all at Laurence Jones Funeral Directors were very proud to open Cresswell House Funeral Home in Elton, Chester. Cresswell House is not only the most beautiful funeral home for many a mile, but our facilities here are also second to none. With free car park and 2 beautifully decorated Chapels of Rest, we are the nearest funeral directors to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, and are only 15 minutes from the Countess of Chester Hospital.
Wherever you are in Wirral, We're Here to Help, and whatever funeral service you require we will always try to keep costs down. There are two elements to the price of a funeral. If the coroner is involved and a post mortem examination takes place, Doctor's fees do not apply. 575.00 for a service between 9.00 a.m. and 9.30 a.m.
Many people wish to provide for their funeral expenses & a funeral payment plan is a caring, sensible and cost-effective way to do so. A funeral plan is an easy way to pre-arrange the funeral you want and pay for the funeral director's services covered by the plan in advance. A plan can help to save your family worry and expense, and help make things easier for your loved ones at what is often a difficult time.

They were always on the end of the phone to attend to any questions or requirements we we wanted. The funeral was everything we would have wanted so beautifully conducted and the Humanist did everything we asked of him again beautifully done I would recommend Laurence Jones to anybody anytime Thank you Laurence Jones

We recently chose Lawrence Jones to care for my Dad's funeral. Initially we were impressed with the service received when we first rang them, and they were respectful when they came to collect him that evening. However, a few red flags unfortunately soon made the situation more distressing than needed. Upon our visit to the funeral home to discuss funeral details, a member of staff entered the meeting room very abruptly without knocking, and with no apology just to get a chair. Upon leaving, he was actually having another meeting with an elderly couple simply sat in the hallway where both were

Lawrence Jones were excellent in dealing with our dads funeral. Took all of the stress away from us completely. In fact we felt at times that we should have been doing more but were assured that thy had dealt with everything. The funeral came and went with no issues whatsoever and they had clearly understood all of our needs/requests. Highly recommend!

Hi Roger & family
We would like to express our thanks to all of you for the care that you took with us and with my aunt, Lorna Baker's funeral arrangements. Also, we'd like to express our gratitude for co-ordinating the donations to the Alzheimer's Society. Everything went so smoothly and was conducted in a friendly but professional manner. We will be using your company again and would have no hesitation in recommending your services. Please feel free to use these comments on your website if you so wish.
Thank you again

Dear Roger,
For the immediate, just an informal warm thanks for yours and the team's kindness and unobtrusive efficiency for Graham's funeral. All went entirely smoothly and according to plan, for which the family and I are most grateful.
I hope that today isn't too frenetic and you get a chance to sit and relax for a bit. With the reception just over, that's what I'm doing with a few glasses of red...
I look forward to seeing you tomorrow (with sat-nav in car!) c 4pm (if that doesn't suit I can come earlier or later - just say).
Warm good wishes and thanks so much again, Father Marcus Stewart
