I don't know who first said: "Jack of all trades, master of none" but they were right. I'm proud that for over two decades I have specialised in working with those people who have taken control of their destiny by running their own business, or working for themselves. Working with business owners and the self-employed for so long, means I have an intimate knowledge of the issues you must deal with on a daily basis.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser, giving business owners in Cambridgeshire and surrounding counties, financial peace of mind. My career started in 1994 at HSBC Bank as a Financial Planning Manager working initially with personal customers. It was when I moved to the commercial team that I found where my strengths really lie; working with business owners of all sizes, to fulfil both their personal and business financial objectives.
It reminds me of my appraisals back at the bank, when I might be asked: "What's gone well over the past few months?" Or at an internal interview: "Why should you get this promotion?" Who likes to boast about themselves? I know I don't. But, if you are a business owner looking for financial advice, I do humbly believe, and I am told by my existing clients, that there are some key reasons you should consider me.
I have spent over 20 years dealing with employers and employees of micro and small businesses. Some people may only have the evenings or weekends to contact me, which is why I'm happy to respond to calls and emails out of business hours. I strive to do this straightaway, but if I'm not immediately available it will still be within 24 hours, including when I'm away.

In a world where money rules, you will find an honest, which is rare, professional human being who is still capable of giving you good, straight talk advice with no complicated big words... Had some amazing guidance from Victor over the past week - as a 23 year old with my own business, looking to plan financially for the future, Victor's experience and knowledge on all things from acquiring income protection to investments to pension plans means his guidance has helped me to map out a path ahead both in the short-term and even right through to later life. I first met Victor in January 2020 shortly after I had set up a company and was getting lots of paperwork on pensions. We had a coffee and he pointed me in the right direction for both my company and my personal pension.
Said it would be unethical to do through him as it was small amounts so he told me what to do.
If a company tells you how to do something without them earning money then to me they are giving you the best advice. If I had thousands to invest Victor would the the only place I would go.
