Lewis & Cooper
Tony joined the Company in 1983, rapidly gained the respect and support of the Lewis & Cooper Board and staff, and was at the helm for 23 years, until his retirement in 2006. He was an icon in the food industry and his skills and expertise were recognized by his appointments to many committees including the Guild of Fine Foods where he was a founder member.

He was ably assisted at the company over many years by his late wife, and daughters, as detailed in the family obituary, published today in the Darlington and Stockton Times. We will remember him as a fine Yorkshireman and strong stalwart of many family, community and sporting ventures. Please note, our Northallerton store remains open for groceries, wines, deli and takeaway.

I think Lewis and Cooper are ripping people off. I bought two types of cheese there today, and neither tasted like the quality cheese they are supposed to be. The quality is cheap, but the prices are enormous. A proper rip off.

Emailed yesterday with what I’d like from their new delivery service. Phone call just after 9 this morning confirming what I’d asked for and what they didn’t have in stock. Made payment and delivered just over an hour later. Amazing service. Perfect for us social distancing and isolating. Thank you x
