The Glan yr Afon Inn does not have a separate function room any more, however we can cater for small private parties in the restaurant or Derwen room. Please contact Karen or Chris for more information. At over 10 miles long the historic Milwr Tunnel runs hundreds of feet directly below The Glan Yr Afon Inn. We make a special effort to make The Glan a friendly environment with well lit parking areas and pathways or dinner from our full menu served to your room.

This is a cosy Inn surrounded by nature. When we arrived we were not sure of how it will be like. But the inn was inviting with lot of wide parking space. The land lady was very helpful. After check-in she guided us to the rooms. The rooms were very clean and well kept. There was tea and hot water kettle. There was a common freeze which was packed with coffee, fruits and option of cereals in case u fill hungry at night. The land lady offered to make vegetarian breakfast for us which we will try tonight. The view from the inn is stunning. The pub has a pool table to play. The floors are a bit squeaky

Very warm welcome on arrival. Meal was delicious, far to much but was able to take away what I did not manage to finish, (will enjoy later this evening). Staff were amazing could not do enough for us, made sure everything was satisfactory. Shame we are going home on Friday. I would recommend this pub for its atmosphere, surroundings, staff and the food.
