Hi my name is Grant, The Surface Saver. Like all other resurfacing companies, we used to do spray resurfacing for shower tray crack repairs. To be honest, it wasn't a great solution to the problem. This is because in order to get the tray strong again, you have to put down a LOT of fibreglass filler on top (because you can never get at it from underneath like you can with baths).
However, all that filler leaves a hump with the spray method because the topcoat is super thin. We tried putting less filler down to make the end result look flatter, but the shower tray crack would reappear over time. Then we went back to adding more filler, which just left the dreaded ugly hump again.

Services
Are you a homeowner or working in someone's property, and have a damaged bath, sink or shower tray? We can get it fixed in no time, like the damage never happened in the first place. Maybe the item needs to be fully resurfaced and restored due to wear and you need someone to get it looking great again for you?
Save your tray with a shower tray repair AND resurfacing kit. The resin in this kit has a bright white high gloss finish that looks just like a new shower tray. The kit comes with everything you need to fix a crack (if required) and then fully resurface the tray as good as new. Our filling and full resurfacing technique is the ONLY way to save your tray if it's CRACKED.
Repairs and resurfacing are becoming very popular because baths, sinks and shower trays tend to wear quickly and can look untidy. We repair all damage and wear on any colour or material, so you can always have a fresh looking bathroom. Sinks, especially kitchen sinks, can be a real feature in a home.

Our shower needed resurfacing after a failed repair by another company. It is a unusual shape & design making access difficult. The Shower Savers assessed the problems via WhatsApp and arrived promptly with a good understanding of the problems. The job was successfully completed with minimum of disruption to us and in a covid-secure manner. Impressive.

After doing lots of googling trying to find a way to repair a shower tray without replacing it I came across surface saver on YouTube. After watching the video I dropped them a few messages to make sure it would work. Quick response on my questions so I took the plunge and ordered the kit. Kit arrived in a few day. Everything you need is in the kit. Mid application I had a question, dropped them a quick message and a reply straight back. Top customer service and 99% better than before. Highly recommend 👍

Managed to drop something on my Bathroom Basin, which left a very ugly crack. This Basin is semi recessed, which would have required new units as well as a different style Basin.
Sent a photo to Grant, who told us it could be repaired, arranged a call, job was done within 2 hours - very professional you could not tell that it had been repaired! Grants team were exceptionally good, on time, thorough and very reasonable I would highly recommend.

We used Grant to fix a hairline crack in our stone-resin shower tray. He was responsive, friendly and professional in his approach. Due to the drying time of the resurface material the whole repair took half a day, but the price was reasonable when compared with the alternative of having to remove and replace the tray and surrounding tiles. The shower has been used several times since the repair and there are no signs of it reappearing. I would highly recommend contacting Grant for his advice and help.
