John Pallister Chartered Surveyors
We're a family firm following the traditions and practice of Matthew Pallister, who in the 1930s was a well-known auctioneer and valuer. He later founded the Skipton partnership Pallister & Clement, and our practice descends from that lineage. Today, John Pallister is supported by his son Richard and daughter Catherine, making up a team of property professionals with a depth of qualifications and experience.

The team is further enhanced with the assistance of Dawn Patterson, who has fifteen years experience in house sales and lettings. Our staff are up-to-date in the latest training and have the best equipment and strive to preserve the high standards of practice that we have delivered for decades. We help all our clients in person; issues are fully explained, phone calls are returned, and your interests are diligently followed throughout.
Services
Chartered Surveyors Clitheroe, we are property professionals, working across the North West countryside. You will see from this site that we are indeed a "Jack of all Trades", but we also have a strong reputation for being masters of all that we undertake. When you seek our expertise, you can expect to receive honest advice and action, independent of outside influence and delivered by a reliable and experienced property professional.
Whilst the practice was originally well known and trusted for its depth in agricultural property matters, in recent times that experience and expertise has grown to include significant residential and commercial interest. Our practice nowadays deals with market town property and countryside issues throughout the North West.
We are chartered surveyors in Clitheroe and specialise in market town property and countryside matters. We are proud to offer a range of professional property services in Lancashire and across the North West. Do you need a surveyor or any of our other professional property services? Our charges are normally 80.00 to 150/hour, plus VAT at the prevailing rate and disbursements.
Whether you're buying your very first home or moving again, you must have a house survey done. You're spending a lot of money on your new property, and a residential survey can help you find out about the condition of the building you're investing in. Being forewarned is being forearmed.

Once you've made an offer on a property and it's been accepted, a survey will allow you to make an informed decision about how much you're willing to pay, by taking into consideration any problems that you may need to deal with once you own the property.Evidence from the survey gives you a high bargaining chip which allows you to negotiate the buying price.
As Chartered Surveyors, we operate under strict codes of conduct and have professional indemnity insurance in place to protect you. To further enhance our service to new and existing customers, we're affiliated with SAFEagent, a letting agent accreditation scheme. The scheme offers peace of mind to landlords and tenants, who know they're dealing with a firm which agrees to meet defined standards of customer service.
