I first worked with Luca and Nico back in 2013 when I purchased some beautiful reclaimed polished cast iron radiator from them from a site in a set of railway arches in Leyton. They no longer do the radiators but I've since purchased two beautiful marble fireplaces from them. On both occasions the fitting has been first rate. Most recently Luca and Nico turned up at 8am as agreed, opened the chimney breast and fitted the marble and a reclaimed insert. They were done by 2pm. They protected floors and joinery. I absolutely love my new fireplace. I can highly recommend these guys. They still operate

Alberto's have just delivered a black slate fireplace surround. The deliveryman, from Romania, like the employee of whom someone else has complained (the fellow with whom I had dealings was a Szekler, if that matters; like Englishmen, not all Romanians are the same), showed up timely -- took care of everything that I expected -- impeccable service. And this has been the case in three months' dealings with the firm: Repeated set-ups of fireplace surrounds to permit inspection and assessment of what might work best; gracious accommodation of a request that a purchase be stored till a delivery could
