ISM was established in 1965 as a family run business by John Allen (Snr) in Ramsbottom, specialising in the removal of machinery and scrap metal from factories. Back in the 1970s, we recognised the benefits recycling had on the environment and were one of the first companies to develop our own onsite Materials Recycling Facility.

ISM were outstanding on our latest Building clearance. We have used loads of waste and recycling companies up and down the country for building clearances but we have never come across a company so accomodating and with such a high level of service within this industry until now.
