Whether looking for a holiday Cottage, self catering Chalets or camping, Higher Moor is able to meet your requirements. Once visited you will want to return again and again. Situated at the bottom of a valley on the edge of the extensive National Trust Cubert Common, Higher Moor is tucked away from the main tourist areas.

It has stunning views across the Common, and is within easy walking distance of Porth Joke and Crantock Beaches. Our Camp Site and Chalets provide quiet and comfortable accommodation without overcrowding. Fresh home-grown vegetables are available, and a weekly deliver of fresh fish is provided. Approached down a quiet lane, Higher Moor is set in its own extensive grounds.

Nanis Report

It nestles in Polly Joke Valley on the edge of Cubert Common close to Crantock. It has large south facing landscaped gardens bordered by a stream and surrounded by mature trees. Nanis offers spacious self-catering accommodation with all modern conveniences in a tranquil and beautiful setting. It is within easy walking distance of the South West Coastal Path and Porth Joke and Crantock Bay, two spectacular beaches.

Chalets Report

Higher moor has 4 chalets within easy walking distance of beautiful beaches and spectacular coastal areas. They do not have their own toilet and showers, which you will note is reflected in the low tariffs. They share two very well appointed toilet blocks with our small camp site. They do, however, have every other amenity such as digital TV, microwave, fridge/freezer, etc.

Camping Report

Higher Moor offers traditional camping in a wonderful location. There are 22 pitches all of which are widely spaced with the majority around the perimeter of a 2 acre level field. This ensures there is never a feeling of overcrowding, and allows plenty of space for the children to let off steam. Each pitch has its own picnic table.

Just got back from alovely holiday in Nanis.cottage has everything you need.. Gardens are lovely.And the home made cake was delicious.Thank you again and we will definitely be returning

This is a beautiful site that is ideally located and within walking distance to the beach.
The pitches are huge and provide plenty of privacy and space. Shower and facilities are clean and well maintained. Couldn't ask for more.

5 star. Excellent as usual. I had peace, quiet and beautiful surroundings. Many coastal walks..The cabin, showers, toilets are lovely and make a cosy stay.

I stayed here whilst walking the coastal path. Exactly what a campsite should be, quiet and relaxing. Very well maintained. With great facilities, in an perfect location. And to top it incredibly good value for money

Camped here. Generous pitches and ample clean and tidy facilities. Owners are very friendly. Would recommend to anyone wanting a beach holiday in Cornwall. Lots of happy kids about the place.

Location is excellent and the site is well kept and maintained. We found the atmosphere slightly overbearing, lots of notes and signs with rules that we felt were passive aggressive, which came across negatively to us. We had a nice stay here but the atmosphere let it down.
