Chapmans Taxi’s are the most reliable, safe and friendly company that I have ever met. I am disabled and at very short notice Martin has got to me very quickly and aided me in getting to hospital safely. He is very professional and treats anyone and everyone with the care and respect they deserve.
All speed limits are stuck to like glue, and he takes great care of his customers. He takes calls using a hands free device unlike some of the taxi’s I’ve been in.
He is nothing short of wonderful and has never let me, nor anyone I know, down. Chapmans is the only company I can trust in my times

Chapman’s Taxi’s have always provided a professional service for me and my family. When our grandad was terminally ill Martin assisted him in getting to and from appointments and was a wonderful friend to our family during this time.
He has also helped me personally with charity events collecting donations for me in different areas which has helped me massively. Martin and his drivers are the only company that I would trust and use in thirsk as they provide a professional and prompt service every single time no matter what time of day it is. It is really really scary (not to mention illegal with seriously good reason) when your taxi driver, on a dark busy road at night, not only answers the phone but holds a conversation involving one hand on the wheel with the other holding a clipboard he's looking at instead of the road... Never again. This guy is runniing an office and business from his taxi - which would be fine if he didn't do it while driving. He obviously knows that if he just used the phone non-hands-free, that would be an offence he could lose his licence and livelihood for. So how was taking the calls hands-free, but using
