Dougie & his Dad at Island Electrical are brilliant, they went out of their way to help me recently. I needed something at very short notice and wasn’t sure of the details of what I needed. They came to the rescue. Great little shop and fabulous customer service.

Purchased a couple of fluorescent tubes today, these guys had them in stock, when no-one else did, and they couldn't have been more helpful. 1st class customer service 👌

We have used Island Electrical , (Again) recently for a full re wire, cctv and external lighting. All works were carried out on time and to budget and the quality passed expectations. We highly recomend this local company.

Fantastic place. Helpful staff and everything you need (even the random things you think of at 4.52 on a Friday afternoon). The staff even know what a thingamybob is for the back of the doofer! No joke they know!!

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Went in to see what new light fittings we should have.
There was a great choice, and they are fitting the new lights next week, as well as some sockets with USB chargers on them.
This shop, and it’s staff are a good reason to, and advert for, supporting shopping locally.

I know for a fact that the owner of this shop personally delivered products all over the area during lockdown 1, above and beyond for the local community. Island Electrical sits on a site where there's been an electrical shop for more than 100 years - now more than ever they need our help, and our community needs to pay back those local retailers that have looked after us for decades. Whether it's batteries, Roberts radios, a vacuum cleaner, kettle, toaster, light bulbs or electrical conduit this store is a fabulous local resource in Hoylake and deserves our patronage... Having received a telephone call from my sister yesterday to say that she had no heating, and being unable to help, I telephoned Island Electrical. Within half an hour of making that phone call, and although the shop was closed, they had been to the shop, picked up an oil filled radiator and fan heater and delivered them. Absolutely brilliant service and proves that you should always try and shop local. Well done and thank you very much

I contacted islands electrical shop in hoylake by telephone on a tuesday morning to ask them if they could sort out my outdoor switch light as it wasn't working the gentleman said on the telephone I'll sent one of my colleagues out to assess the job two days time which was the next day. The electrician co/owner came to my house assessed the outdoor switch light and said no problem I'll send one of my electricians out Thursday or Friday morning to do the job but never showed up not even a telephone call to explain why they never bothered terrible service wouldn't recommend this company.

We had a problem with our work shop tripping called the shop and within an hour it was sorted great service thanks guys Derek Holmes

Absolutely the most fantastic shop on the Wirral if you want anything electrical from a phone lead to computer cable to a kettle food mixer or switch they vet every product they sell and you'll be a very happy customer. Reasonable prices too they take very good care of you.
