The lady accompanying the hearse was more concerned with a family members dog and its needs. she totally failed to see the deceased's son standing by the car and failed to offer any condolences. we then had to wait at the crem whilst the dog was again seen too. her answer was she didnt know the family dynamics but had she paid less attention to the dog and done her job she may have noticed other family members waiting to get into the car following the hearse. appalling

I would just like to put the other side to the review from Lorraine Dobson ( none family member ). The team at Ashby funeral care have been outstanding not only for organising my fathers recent funeral but my mother’s funeral a couple of years ago. They have shown care, compassion and empathy in such difficult times having, time to listen to our needs. I have been the sole carer for both parents and after my mother died a huge part of my life was dedicated to my dads care and welfare. My dad and I along side my little dog Fodo ( a therapy dog ) became tremendously close. Every visit I paid to
