Ames Taping dries far quicker than new plasterwork and produces a smooth surface ready to be decorated by the painters. Summarised in layman's terms, it has two purposes. Ames taping is fire and smoke protection, and also an alternative to plastering which is being increasingly used in new house building contracts since originating in the late 1930's.
If your home has suffered fire damage, smoke damage, water damage, flood damage or even subsidence damage to one or more rooms in your home you will probably require assistance in restoring your home. Coastal Decorators have undertaken a vast amount of interior and exterior insurance work over the years, including domestic properties and commercial projects such as schools, offices, factories and hotels.
Barrie and Scott did a wonderful job that they are returning in April to do more inside work and outside. Would recommend Barrie and Scott without hesitation. Cant reccomend them at all, got several quotes back in early April, gave the job to these guys as the price was cheap & Barry sold himself great so waited for a start date, by June still nothing so contacted them again & was told he would text me a start date for the end of June. Now mid July and got another contractor to do the job they gave a fixed start date and have started dropping off materials already.
