Good pub on the highway with open fire, pool table and wonderful restaurant food. Chicken dish, daily pie special and ribs excellent.
Could do with a tidy up at front removing the gigantic ashtray at front door and improve front lighting to give it a more welcoming feel.

Really good place to eat with pretty good real ale. Huge place on the inside with smart eating areas and a couple of more relaxed drinking areas with pool tables. Dog friendly and a good place to spend an evening. Barman was a real gent too, old school hospitality.

The food here is delicious. We had garlic mushrooms and chicken wings wings starters, followed by sea bass and homemade curry. It was absolutely beautiful and thoroughly enjoyed. We didn't take our dog, but there was a dog inside so it does appear to be dog friendly. Would highly recommend.

We visited here twice whilst staying in a cottage a couple of miles away. The owner is a gentleman, let us bring our dog in and found us a nice quiet corner. Food was brilliant, had fish and chips and farmers chicken. Chips tasted home made, best chips I have had for ages. Would definitely recommend.
