Every interior design project is a unique journey: a singular, bespoke response to the client, their brief and their budget. My job is to understand the way the client thinks and how they want their space to be perceived; there needs to be consideration and integrity in every step of the work that I do in order to offer value for money while exceeding the client's expectations.
I love to present the results of my design and transformation projects to clients - the completed work represents the story of my reaction to each project and the unique set of circumstances involving the individuals who commissioned me, the brief, the budget, the time frame and the location.

Claire can make interior design magic happen; those of us who see the devil in the design detail can expect to meet a host of angels singing in perfect harmony when she reveals her transformation.
Contemporary interior design is all about the client's individual taste and aspirations; one person's cool contemporary is another's stark and unappealing. For contemporary interiors to work successfully, scale plays an enormous part. Shapes and textures become more important and tend to be used sparingly; soft textures and natural materials have a huge contribution to make, as does colour.
Not all listed property developments require traditional interior design. Renovation of a historic house can encompass or pay homage to many different styles from Gustavian and Fin de Sicle to shabby chic and Biedermeier.

Period house interiors can be revamped with colour, texture and detail that may not necessarily be immediately associated with historic tradition but offer an elegant environment suited to contemporary lifestyles, brought together by a sympathetic lighting design and resulting in a rich, visual tapestry that brings our concept of traditional themes into the 21st Century.
