A1 works on clear charges and is always happy to provide a full breakdown of cost. Our hourly rates are believed to be the lowest in the industry, with out workshop hourly rate only 45 an hour. At A1 Recovery a full range of repair and routine maintenance services are offered and anything from changing a bulb to changing a gear box can be undertaken.
A1 operate a true 24 hour 7 day a week vehicle breakdown recovery service throughout Chichester, Petersfield, Havant, Southampton, Portsmouth Andover, Salisbury and across Hampshire and West Sussex from Worthing in the east, to Bournemouth in the west and up to Newbury in the north. Our fleet of vehicles in their bright chequered lime green and pink livery are regularly seen around Southern England.

We had a terrible experience with A1 when their driver came to collect our vehicle that had been damaged in a no fault accident while parked outside our home.
We had no prior notice that a driver was on the way so hadn't had time to remove our belongings from the vehicle. When he arrived we were ordered to take everything out and then the driver started forcibly removing things from the car and entering our home without permission to put then in.
Our young boys were both screaming and there was no attempt to slow down so that we could tend to them.

From start to finish i could not have asked for a better service. The gentleman that collected my car was helpful and educational in what the issue was, without being patronising. The gentleman that gave me options so there for not ripping me off. I am very happy with the service and will definitely be using them again

Called up and spoke to Darren. He seemed fine and helpful but took the wrong road name so the recovery driver had to call me to find out where I was. He also sent out a 10 ton truck when he mentioned a 7.5 ton truck. The 10 ton truck was too big to get round my vehicle so this was a problem.
The recovery driver Mark was very helpful and told me that it was a two man job. That's when Steve came to help. The two of them were really helpful and did an excellent job. The recovery was quite hard but they managed to pull it off.
