I've been making jewellery since 2004 and am always creating new designs and developing the way I work. I come from a Textile background, with a degree in Embroidery which set me off on this path of mine exploring intricate details, subtle colour choices and delicate textures. When I'm working on new designs I can spend hours searching for the perfect colour of beads to work together to bring my vision to life.
I made the first designs in this collection 10 years ago. For 2020 I'm relaunching a capsule collection of these popular designs. Look closely and you'll see they feature vintage hooks, eyes and press studs, elegant with an intriguing talking point. Evoking elegant jewellery from times gone by, these wearable pieces are intricately hand stitched with wire and beautiful beads for colour.
That finishing touch for a special occasion. Inspired by Art Deco shapes and colours this range of necklaces add drama but yet are still subtle and delicate in feel. If you'd like a bespoke version of one of these pieces, perhaps to match an outfit, or if you can't see the colour combination you'd like pictured here, do get in touch as it can be made for you.
This workshop takes place at Spout Brew House, my studio is on the second floor and you'll be able to visit my studio too. Experiment with a variety of techniques to create your own unique hanging framed in an embroidery hoop. I'll show you how to make various wire flower, leaf and bird forms and finish them with wire embellishments, colourful papers, beads and more.
My jewellery is stocked in a variety of outlets around the UK from galleries to gift shops and museums. If you are interested in stocking my jewellery do get in touch to discuss.
