The Riviera Discover the English Riviera, where there are attractions, activities and events to entertain you all year round! This is the best holiday apartment we have stayed in, very clean and the owners was so friendly Nothing was too much trouble Great swimming pool! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner who showed us around the apartment we had booked - we arrived 2 hours before check-in time but were able to check-in early.
Torquay is the most popular and largest town in Torbay, comprising of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. Torquay's waterfront is the focus of life in the town. Here you'll find the promenade, seafront gardens, a lively harbour and an international marina. The new Living Coasts attraction adds to the variety of the new waterfront and the illuminated bridge is a great backdrop to a relaxing evening drink.

Barramore always our chosen holiday apartments in Torquay. Just returned from our second visit this year and as comfortable as always. We were the first people into newly refurbished flat after lockdown in May and looking so good. Ivy is an amazing host always very approachable and available at all times.

Fabulous holiday had last week at these lovely apartments. We will definitely be returning. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. We stayed in flat 10 which has recently been refurbished and overlooked the pool. Perfect getaway for 2. Owner Ivy has obviously been in the hospitality business for many years and has thought of everything. She also knows the area well and able to recommend all the best places. Very professional but very friendly lady and nothing was too much trouble.

I have just returned from the Barramore Apartments after yet another wonderful stay. My base for the week was Room 1, a newly decorated, modern and comfortable ground floor room. The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. These apartments in Torquay are really convenient and a short walk to both the seafront, cafes and bars and the train station.
With the weather being so glorious I know the swimming pool will be well used over the summer and a great bonus for anyone staying here. Ivy is very helpful if you need anything, info on local attractions etc and I hope to see you again

I would seriously advise turning around and finding something else if you wish to book these apartments.
We stayed in apartment five for three months out of our six month winter let tenancy with our one year old, within two weeks we had noise complaints amongst others which were unjust, this then led to the owner of the building entering the flat with no permission or prior notice to take photos of my private belongings, invading my privacy completely.
Once caught in my CCTV and told we would seek legal advice from her we received Ivy at the door trying to make excuses for this, lying and saying

Fantastic (dog friendly) holliday apartments. Would highly reconmend to anyone looking to stay in Torquay. Ivy is a brilliant host, shes welcoming, friendly and helpful. The apartments are clean and airy with all the amenities you could need. In addition the apartment complex also has some nice extras such as beautiful garden with nice seating areas and swimming

Just returned from a family holiday staying at The Barramore Holiday Apartments, this our tenth year of staying there and must say what a lovely time we had. The apartments all three we had booked were of the highest standard, and the pool area kept the children happy for hours on end.
Thanks to Ivy putting up with us and bad news we will be returning next year Carn’t wait.

Having stayed in many self-catering holiday apartments and cottages over the years, these stand out. We stayed here for a couple of weeks with our kids and my brother's family and had such a good time that we have booked again for a reunion next year! The rooms were light, spacious and very clean with high standards of furnishing and nice finishing touches, The manager and his wife were very friendly and accommodated our requests with smiles and prompt action. The pool, that was stocked with inflatables for the kids, was put to good use and my wife liked the private, back garden that was something
