Before your first lesson I find it to our mutual advantage to take a few minutes to discuss your specific needs and requirements. This will help me to judge the level of driving tuition required and how to plan your first lesson.

It could be that you are a new learner driver who has never driven at all, in this case the first lesson would begin with a brief explanation about the controls of the car beginning with when you enter it for the first time.If you are a driver with some experience, possibly with family or friends or if you started to learn and did not continue, the level of tuition would begin at a different level.
The UK theory test consists of two parts. The multiple choice section and the hazard perception section. For cars and motorcycles you'll be asked 50 questions in 57 minutes and the pass mark is 43 out of 50. The hazard perception section consists of 14 movie clips containing 15 scoring hazards, so one clip will contain 2 scoring hazards.
Pass Plus is a training course specifically aimed at new drivers, designed by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) and the driving instruction industry. It is recommended by the motor insurance industry many of whom offer discounts on your premium. Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident in the first two years of passing their test due to a lack of driving experience - this is where Pass Plus comes in!
There's nothing like brushing up on what you are being taught by your instructor to keep things fresh in your mind between driving lessons. The videos listed below have been officially produced by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (often referred to as the DVSA) and are designed to give you information on the various points and steps you need to know, or take, leading up to your all important Driving Test.
