The Tower House
Tower House is a fabulous base for exploring the rich history of Oxford and the modern delights of shopping and dining. Located in a quiet street in the heart of the city centre, we are a stone's throw from the central shopping area, nothing beats this location.

With individually styled rooms in a 400 year old historic building, you can be sure of a good night's sleep in the comfort and security of a building in which our deluxe rooms belong to the original city walls built to defend Oxford's old historic boundaries. Our accommodation is not manned 24-7, so if you expect to arrive outside of our 3pm-9pm check-in times then please get in touch.
Services
Our eight rooms are all decorated with old, modern, repurposed, and handmade furniture. They are equipped with the usual suspects such as a flatscreen television, tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, and free wifi access. We are housed in a Grade II listed building with only one ground floor bedroom (one of the Deluxe En Suites) so please advise us if you specifically require the ground floor room when booking.
No, all of our rooms contain double beds, none of them are twin beds. However we do offer the option of adding a single rollaway bed (at an additional 15 per night) to your room (not applicable to all rooms). Last check-in time is 9 pm. If you are worried about arriving late please give us a call on 01865 246828 to ensure that we will be able to give you access.

We stayed at the Tower House Hotel for two nights. The hotel is located at a very central location, a few minutes walk from Oxford historical area and the high Street. We booked the double room with a bath which was large and comfortable but didn't have a showerhead, so we could take a bath but not a shower..
Overall we had a positive experience, just make sure you book a different room

Cute, quirky and cosy. It's right in the heart of Oxford but on a quaint quiet road. I came for a business trip and the most important things for me (the bed and the breakfast) were top notch.

The hotel is clean, the bed is comfortable and it is ideally located in the center of Oxford which is a really good thing. There is only one shared bathroom but it was not a problem as I never had to wait.
The breakfast is at the restaurant nearby and is absolutely delightful! This is a "major go" for me. They have muffins with salmon, full English breakfast, a large variety of hot drinks and sweet deserts 😍
The only bad point is that the windows do not really block the sound from outside. I always wake up at 6am because of the sound. I would like to emphasize that it was because I was located

Knowing the high prices in Oxford, this Townhouse is a little gem! We had a double room with shared bathroom and both were extremely clean. Calm road and didn’t hear the other guests either. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was simply divine!!
Just a heads up about the mattress due to the small size of the room, it was a uk double size and a bit too soft for me.
