That's me sat on the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset - probably the coolest photo of me that I thought would be a good intro to my 'About me' page. So I better talk about what I do. As you may or may not have read on the home page, I'm a graphic designer with just over five years' experience of working in in-house agency environments.
As the lead designer at Speakers for Schools, everything visual runs through me. I am the brand guardian for the organisation with the responsibility to ensure consistency throughout all items shared internally and externally.
The charity is relatively new, so I have played a big part behind the scenes producing work to get the organisation off the ground such as branded forms, presentation decks, one-pagers and social media output that have helped improve our impact and visibility online and won partnerships and sponsorships.

The most pleasing project I worked on was rebranding Salford's Big Day Out - an annual summer fair held on the lawns in front of the town hall. A new identity and branding style was required that was spread across all signage, posters, maps and adapted to a Facebook live filter for on the day, as well as being the cover artwork for the quarterly magazine, Life in Salford, which I took the design lead several times.
A good friend of mine started a new business venture in the summer of 2017 with That Burger Place, which is, rather obviously, a local burger restaurant located in Swinton. I have worked with him before for the Comedy Central graphics so he got in touch again to help bring his new investment to life.
