We ensure that our person-centred assessments are all tailored to the individual person and we will look at what people can do, not just what they need assistance with. Our on-site facilities include a hairdressing salon with a visiting stylist. Residents also benefit from regular visits from manicurists, beauticians, chiropodists and opticians.
Our care team is always around, providing as much or as little help as required, giving our residents and their families confidence and maintaining peace of mind. Sydmar Lodge provides bespoke care and support for people over the age of 65. The home offers residential, respite and dementia care and is aimed primarily at people from the Jewish community.

Why does this place always look so dirty? It's embarrassing. I can't begin to imagine how unclean it must be inside. Why aren't the management owning their mistakes, being accountable and adopting a learning culture in a place that cares for vulnerable old people? Its just scary that this is the attitude taken towards our elderly community members.

Sydmar is a well managed, warm and welcoming Jewish home with a host wonderful staff that respect the residents faith and traditions. The home is kept clean and safe to a high standard and the staff always go above and beyond to make sure the residents are happy and well looked after. The fact the home is always at capacity speaks for itself really!
The comments in regards to the rubbish and the management are completely unfounded! A lot of people live at that home so of course rubbish builds up but it is collected regularly and is not a hazard. All management and staff work tremendously hard

Wow, if it looks like that from the street imagine what the inside must be like 😱
What a failure of management to leave rubbish piled up like that creating a fire hazard with clearly little or no regard for the safety of those vulnerable residents in case of a fire.
This place used to be lovely but I believe it has changed owners in the last few years and I wonder who the new owners are and whether they are aware of how it is being run? if that was my business I would not have allowed that mess.
Is this place still a Jewish care home, is it Kosher and if so who is supervising the Kashrut
