Services
As primary health care professionals, physiotherapists combine in-depth knowledge of how the body works with specialised hands-on clinical skills to assess, diagnose and treat symptoms of illness, injury or disability. With your independence in mind, a physiotherapist's goal is to restore, maintain, and maximise your mobility, strength, function, and overall well-being.
Linkfield Physiotherapy Clinic specialises in musculoskeletal therapy, treating conditions that affect the body's muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Most spinal problems are mechanical in nature and are not serious. Physiotherapy offers hands on treatment for specific problems, tailored exercise plans and effective advice for self-management and future prevention.
Physiotherapy restores movement and function to as near normal as possible when someone is affected by injury, illness, development or other disability. It speeds up the healing process and reduces pain and stiffness. Physiotherapy is concerned with maximising patients' physical movement and function - we believe this is central to everyone's health and fitness.
Your first treatment will usually last for 45 minutes. Firstly your physiotherapist will take a detailed history of your problem, together with any relevant past medical history. Next, they will undertake a physical assessment - this will help determine the clinical diagnosis of your problem.
The physiotherapist will then explain a proposed treatment plan (and tell you how long your treatment is likely to last), as well as what sort of outcome you can expect. You will probably be given some "homework" in the form of exercises to carry out before your next treatment (should a follow-up session be recommended).

Onsite corporate physiotherapy provides a very practical benefit for staff and employer alike. It saves not only the patient's precious time but also the Company's time and money and creates a caring positive Company culture. As treatment is very accessible patients can be seen quickly which helps to resolve injuries/pain quickly and therefore less time away from work.

Steve and his team are fantastic, offering helpful advice and in between appointment stretches to ensure that you are feeling better as quickly as possible. Other physios may keep getting you to come back and see them when the treatment is not working, however Steve told me when he felt my wrist treatment wasn’t working and referred me onto a consultant who performed the necessary operation. I couldn’t recommend Linkfield Physiotherapy highly enough. If you are still reading this and are undecided on whether to contact them, just pick up the phone and do it now!

I had a couple of appointments here. I’m running the marathon next week for charity and needed physio after my own operations to remove tumours. Right at the end of treatment I asked for a quick appointment the day before the marathon for help applying KT tape before the race to help with my injuries as my confidence was low- they said without paying for a full consultation no one could help me apply the tape- right at the point I really needed them. I was then also just told to go on amazon and buy the tape myself ... charming !! Wish I went elsewhere.
