With over 20 years of experience of manufacturing high quality roof lanterns and working with builders, contractors, design professionals and end clients we can easily answer any questions. Roof lanterns are the perfect way to bring overhead natural light into a room. Often a building with a flat roof needs extra light and a wow factor, and roof lanterns are a fantastic solution for this.
Having spent the last 20 years specialising in timber roof lantern design and having produced over 8500 different lanterns, we have a huge amount of experience. Our roof lanterns create fine lines, which maximises the amount of light they create, and are built from the highest quality materials. All our roof lanterns are low maintenance and a full guarantee offering outstanding value.
We currently stock a large selection of aluminium made roof lanterns available to purchase online. Product with glass supply: Due to a national shortage in glass supply that is outside Made for Trade's control - lead times for product with glass are currently from 6 weeks. Made for Trade will endeavour to keep our customers updated and maintain the best possible lead times available on all our products and external supplies.
As far as the preparation work is concerned below the roof lantern (whether it be an existing roof or a new roof) this can be done by any competent builder. It will be necessary to create the required aperture (strengthened if needed), create an upstand/kerb for the roof lantern to sit on, lining out the aperture as appropriate and making sure that the roof surface material is carried up the outside of the upstand/kerb correctly.
