Julie Morley Psychotherapist & Mental Health Counsellor
With over 13 years experience, I am a well established Personal Psychotherapist working every week day from my home-office near the centre of Market Deeping. I work face to face with a wide range of people from all walks of life and from all over the area. People who visit want to understand their own mind, explore their thoughts and feelings, work out what's going on for them and want to feel better.

The aims are to improve relationships with others, improve self esteem, reduce anxieties and stress, develop personal identity and authenticity and improve one's sense of mental health, personal comfort and wellbeing. Therapy and coaching of this kind helps you to know better who you are and how you are in the world, and what makes a difference to that.
Services
Personal Psychotherapy tends to be about exploring your psychological and emotional processing functionning in the world and your relationships with others and your internal self. I use my Psychotherapy skills and experience to also offer shorter term counselling, Stress Consultancy for women, Relationship Therapy, Psychotherapeutic Coaching and I'm a certified Insomnia Therapist, Mindfulness CBT Therapist, Hypnotherapist and DBT Therapist.
Stress Consultancy involves a structured set of sessions targetted at reducing the physical and psychological symptoms of stress. Relationship Counselling is focussed around relationships that have fallen into difficulty or works to explore negative patterns aiming for more positive outcomes. Short to Medium term Counselling is around improving your responses to particular issue or issues that is happening in your life at the current time.
The term Mental Health Problem or Mental Health Difficulties relates to symptoms that are starting to affect a person's psychological and emotional wellbeing which often includes some symptoms of distress such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, insomnia or prolonged sadness.

Feelings can be overwhelming and some behaviours might be happenning that are considered out of character and there may be an inability to cope or enjoy the things one normally did enjoy. These feelings, physical symptoms, negative thinking patterns and behavioural responses are common reasons people are bought to counselling.
Sex is never an issue until there is a problem in the bedroom and then it can be a very big problem indeed. Problems of a sexual nature for an individual or couple can cause severe anxiety and can disrupt a relationship. Sex and our sex lives are often discussed openly but suddenly it becomes a taboo subject when theres a sexual problem going on.
As an Integratively trained Therapist, I draw upon a wide range of the most well accepted and effective therapeutic modalities, models and interventions, often at the same time, to facilitate positive change. The types of approaches that I draw upon are listed below. Seeks to discover how unconscious beliefs and past experiences affect current behaviour and these are usually formed in childhood.
