Situated at 5-11 Donaghmore Road, Dungannon, this unique pub is owned and run by the McAleer Family. Opened in 1979 it has undergone a few facelifts over the years. An extensive refurbishment took place in 2003 which catapulted McAleers from what was a small but well run business into the limelight and one of Mid Ulster's top night spots.
By almost trebling in size and combining its traditional character with a contemporary french nouveau theme its superb surroundings now provide five bars from which to serve our devoted customers. The Ivory Club is the most cosmopolitan bar on the premises with chic white interior and a mix of bold contemporary fabrics. On a typical night out it is the liveliest part suited for those in the party mood who enjoy a good boogie. Incorporating the dancefloor with infinity ceiling and state-of-the-art lighting it also plays home to our VIP Celebra Lounge.
Located beyond the St. Tropez Bar this state of the art veranda with patiola and terrace combines trendy surroundings with extensive patio heating to provide a comfortable and luxurious place in which customers can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The nature of Zanzibar Veranda Bar is such that smoking patrons do not have to leave the premises nor their company in order to smoke.
The most traditional of McAleers Bars - the Sports Bar is part of the original bar established in 1979. Steeped in tradition, a range of sporting memorabilia collected over the years is on full display to all visitors. A popular hangout for our longest standing and most loyal customers the Sports Bar has all the feel of a traditional Irish pub.

Absolutely a phenomenal experience one I shall never forget aside from a few nasty comments when I entered the bar I had an exceptionally good wee night the music was on point and the singer was simply out of this world I never left the dance floor not once and all my ladies joined me on the dance floor for what was a great little dance I was giving it some serious greatest showman vibes I would highly recommend this little hidden treasure here up in the mid ulster district in dungannon town......you will have a fantastic night and the service behind the bar was fantastic all smiling happy workforce
