The medieval town of Haverfordwest is situated in the heart of Pembrokeshire, some 55 miles west of Swansea, 20 miles north of Tenby and only 10 miles from the nearest ferry terminal to Ireland. The course is a mile from the town centre. Our parkland course has stunning views which include the Preseli Mountains to the north and the castles of Haverfordwest and Roch.
The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park footpath is only 6 miles away. We pride ourselves on offering a warm welcome to visitors and we will do our very best to ensure that you enjoy your visit to one of Pembrokeshire's friendliest golf clubs to the full. Visitors are welcome throughout the week (including Bank Holidays) and we have a range of Society packages available.

Services
We are pleased to announce that we have made reciprocal playing arrangements with Carmarthen and Newport Golf Clubs for full paying members. In summary, our full paying members will be able to play social golf at either of the other courses by prior arrangement made over the telephone with their Professional.
At Haverfordwest Golf Club, we are now participating in a fantastic and exciting new scheme aiming to get more people into playing golf, what better way to exercise than playing golf at the same time!. If you have any queries regarding the New2Golf Scheme at HGC please contact our N2G Organiser Alex Jones, or our Head PGA Professional Elliot Harding.
Today many visiting societies return year on year to enjoy the golf, the excellent bar and catering services and the relaxed friendly atmosphere. The course has been developed year on year many of the trees planted over twenty years ago have matured to help create beautiful tree lined fairways. The most recent development is the extension of the pond on the par 3 fourteenth.
The clubhouse offers the comprehensive range of refreshments you would expect at an established golf club. It is stocked with wines, spirits, lagers & beers (currently cans and bottles) as well as soft drinks, tea and coffee. You have the choice of relaxing in the comfort of the lounge overlooking the 18th green, sitting out on the patio on a summer's day or enjoying the banter of the spikes bar.
Fancy a room whilst on a golfing break, or just want to treat yourself to our magnificent views? Well, look no further than fairway view, the onsite accomodation at Haverfordwest Golf Club! You can even take advantage of our fantastic stay-and-play package, receiving a 50% reduction in green fees during your stay.

Course seemed pretty wet considering it was early September. Felt like winter rules should be the norm considering how wet the course was. Co vid obviously affecting the club with no bar open afterwards . Was expecting a bit more but will probably play it again some day hopefully when weather is better.

Fairways in great shape. greens are good pace. followed a comp round and still got round in 3 1/2 hours. really friendly staff and members. really lovely people on the course all sharing their success and disasters. back 9 is quite tricky. I would definitely want to play this again if I came back to the area again
