I have used Caunters 3 times now for house sales, James and Sharon are fantastic. They work really hard in background getting everything ready, I would highly recommend them. They are always friendly and informative, even in the current climate when they are extremely busy I can always get a response and no question is silly. I will use them again in the future and recommend them to my friends and family.

I lost 2 months on a house sale due to their inefficiency. The buyer was a cash buyer and l was moving to Spain. They failed to send the contract to my buyers solicitor even though l had told them on several occasions who it was. I was told l should have put it in writing ! I complained by e mail to James Outten the solicitor. At 9 am the next day he ranted to me down the telephone as obviously he could not except any critisism. I was forced to withdraw from any contract with him.

Had the misfortune of the seller using these solicitors when we bought a house. We had no chain, seller had no chain, house was empty. Seller wanted a quick sale, as did we. It took 4 and a half months! We were warned that they had a rep for being slow, but we nearly lost our mortgage offer, and their client nearly lost their sale!
