We are an independently owned business with friendly staff, trained to fit or replace only quality parts. To guarantee that we maintain our high standards we ensure that our technicians are up to date with new technologies, we also insist that our staff attend training on a regular basis. With changes in European legislation it is possible to have your car serviced at an independent garage without invalidating your manufacturers warranty.
All cars three years old or over, must have an MOT test every year, to ensure your car is roadworthy and in safe working order. You can arrange an MOT now, just call us on 01482 868722, we'll also provide a reminder when your next test is due. Our experienced testers have a sound engineering background and if your vehicle should fail they will be happy to explain why, and actually show you the problem areas.

Took my car in thinking it might be a big job with a knocking underneath. Mill Lane found something had come loose and charged a very minimal amount which was such a relief. I've been to other garages before who've completely overcharged for things that didn't need doing as I've found out later, but knowing that Mill Lane are genuine I'll be going back there for my services.

Brilliant service. I had broken down at Tesco. Within 5 minutes of speaking to the really hepful and knowledgeable receptionist my car was being looked at by 2 mechanics.
They were both spot on and quickly had a good idea what the issue was. Really open and honest mechanics who clearly know their stuff.
I've not had a better service from a garage or any other type of business for that matter. The cost of the repair was very reasonable without the usual, we've noticed this other problem " you get at many places trying to get more work.

My daughters car played up on a Friday afternoon at 2.30pm...we called Mill Lane and they helped us straight away. We dropped the car off at 3pm and got it back by 10am on Monday morning.... not bad when they dont work on a Saturday. Even better they quoted £200 but the actual bill was £153. Fantastic very happy customers. Highly recommended
