I started out with the name Love Express Disco to gain traction in the wedding market. Business snowballed and I quickly became established with a number Keswick venues: The Derwentwater Hotel, The Keswick Hotel, The Ladstock Hotel, The Keswick Resturant, and later the Armathathwaite Hall Hotel.
Following a short stint on BBC Local Radio, and three summer seasons working overseas in Corfu and Spain, I returned home to Cumbria to follow my passion of full-time party DJ.In 1988 I had moved to Workington and was in receipt of a Princess Trust Business Grant, and as a result the Mike Wild Roadshow was born.

Advance Disco is a stylish disco package from Motiv-8 which will transform your wedding or event to the next level. Whatever your musical selections, we will skilfully mix your tunes to suit the mood and energy of the party. A live video feed is sent to our TV screen during your Bridal Dances, providing a fabulous backdrop.
Cumbria Karaoke is available with or without Motiv-8's NiteBeat Disco for any event throughout Cumbria and south-west Scotland. From Christenings to Anniversaries. Excellent sound quality is achieved from Allen & Heath mixing, Shure SM58 microphones, and EV Evolve sound. Karaoke has always been a popular entertainment choice at Weddings, especially when the Bride or the Groom perform a few numbers!
The Small Wedding Entertainment package is available throughout Cumbria and south-west Scotland 7 days a week. Simply choose your own format: Motiv-8 Quiz or the Fun Money Race Event, and we'll add Nitebeat Disco to the mix. Motiv-8 Video Quiz generally consists of: Observations, picture Identity, logos, themes, music videos, catchphrases, and various descriptive rounds.
A TIP: Serving your food first, then starting the entertainment afterwards will give you a five hour party at the package price. Once you have booked your Christening Party. Start by planning your event with the on-line client planning tools, and quickly make bespoke music playlists. Presenting a wedding speech is daunting at the best of times, and raising your voice to be heard adds to the worry. I've been to a few weddings over the years but this DJ is the best.Mike knows his trade well and does it properly.

Good video effects.
And above all else a decent good quality sound setup.
You name it and he can play it.

Fantastic evening of our wedding - got everyone dancing and the props were very popular. Mike was very good at mixing the songs into each other and playing a range of music for all guests. Thanks for the unexpected video after too! Pre-choosing songs/requests through their system was really easy, thank you :)
