We have evolved from a simple small store, called Selectronic (Note: Not the same store as the one now in the high-street), to an online business. We are based in Canvey Island, Essex, UK, and we operate UK-wide.

Services
Studio 55 has been providing the photographic editorial service of restoring old and/or damaged photographs for well over a decade. It is a service which demands great patience and concentration, as well as a high level of digital-artistic skill using Adobe Photoshop to extremely finely edit the picture close up, zooming in to make tiny changes, with the mouse acting as the editor's paintbrush.
Via VideoGoGo, we provide a film and audio transfer service for VHS (ordinary video tapes), camcorder tapes (8mm, VHS-C, and Mini-DV), cine-films (8mm and Super 8), vinyl records and audio cassettes. We record, render, and burn our orders ourselves, keeping everything safe in-house, for very reasonable prices (we're certain you'll agree, like countless content clients).
Studio 55 Photography have been providing passport photos and identification photographs that meet the relevant requirement for passports, ID cards, blue badges, football IDs, driving licences, visas, and any other form of photo-inclusive identification, for decades, to the people of Essex. As shown in the example below, we produce high-quality ID photos, digitally or printed and sent to you.
