The company was founded in 1957 by Charles James Ormiston. It was founded as a traditional stonemasonry, work included the restoration of many Kentish churches and monuments. We are passionate about service and the quality of our product. We focus on each project and customer to ensure the best possible outcome. Services
We provide bespoke Kitchen worktops, Hearths and other Stone products in Granite, Marble, Slate, Limestone & Quartz. We also offer a full Service from template to installation across Kent and the South East of England. From Design concept to completion with Experts in Stone Restoration And Repair Work.
We recommend choosing 2-3 material options you would like, we are able to provide price estimates on these easily for you to select the best material for you. If you would like assistance in the selection process please don't hesitate to contact us. Our showroom holds stock of many material stone samples, most of which we're happy to provide free of charge on your visit to us.
At Ormistone, we supply and fit a range of beautiful stone materials which are customised in size and detail. We advise the most suitable materials for each project to suit our clients needs and lifestyle. Granite and Quartz are hard wearing natural stones and the preferred choice of most of our clients.
To use our self estimator, please fill in the size of each pieces of Stone for your worktop. Usually the maximum single length is 3000mm, although sometimes slightly longer is possible. Any visible edge will require finishing ( a profile & polishing after cutting to shape and size), edges against walls are usually not finished.

I visited CJ Ormiston when looking to improve my kitchen. The lady there was extremely friendly and advised what colours would work well for my kitchen and for the type of effect I was trying to create. After choosing the right material for the job, the delivery and installation was simple and professional. I'm really delighted with the end result and get lots of compliments on my new kitchen surface!
