My Husband and I, our two friends and the dogs have just returned from a long weekend stay at Lake Farm. On arrival we were greeted by Julie Alfie and two friendly doggies, Ernie made friends with my dog and he would follow us on our walk around the lakes. Julie and Alfie are fantastic friendly hosts who cannot do enough for you. We stayed at the Meadows, beautiful comfortable lodge with a private hot tub overlooking the fields, wrap around veranda, comfortable beds, decent sized Tv, powerful shower. The weather was not on our side but that didn’t stop us exploring beautiful surroundings which

Perfect for peace and quiet and getting your nails done!
We were lucky enough to get a late booking to stay at The Birches. The cabin is lovely - peaceful, clean and tidy and with everything you need for a comfortable stay. A lovely veranda and you can BBQ outside.
I'm told the fishing is good too! :-) Kerry the nail tech was fab - pay a visit if you can! Myself and my daughter went for a treat and she couldn't do enough for us.
Very relaxing.

We booked for over Christmas at lake farm, we were staying in kingfisher lodge. The owners were very accommodating regarding my disabled mother who was coming for Christmas Day. We had spoken to the owners before to make sure there was access to the lodge and they assured us there would be a ramp which there was. The lodge is very nice with its back to one of the smaller lakes, it had three bedrooms, a double bedroom, a twin and a triple. A shower room and open plan kitchen, dining and living room. The lodge is heated by electric central heating and there is a electrical meter that takes £1 coins
