Services
We will send you a Gas Safety Check reminder every year. The consequences of an ill-maintained old boiler leaking carbon monoxide don't bear thinking about. Under the Gas Safety (installation and Use) regulations, 1998, you are responsible for arranging the maintenance of all pipe work, appliances and flues provided for the use of tenants.
Heating accounts for a large percentage of what you spend in a year on energy bills, so it is important to make sure you have an efficient well-maintained boiler. A condensing boiler has a larger heat exchanger, so it recovers more heat, sends cooler gases up the flue and is more efficient.
Sometimes the flue gases get so cool that the water vapour in the gas condenses out, hence the name, and even more energy is recovered from the condensing vapour.The three types of condensing boilers available are called regular, system and combi (combination). Combination boilers dispense with the hot water cylinder to give you instant hot water at mains pressure, as and when you need it.

Heating controls allow you to easily regulate the temperature of your home. A timer or programmer allows you to control when your heating and hot water comes on and when it goes off. This is handy because it means you can programme your central heating to fit around the way your home is used. If you're not at home or are in bed asleep, then the heating doesn't need to be on.
