We know that choosing a dental practice for yourself and your family can sometimes be a daunting affair, which is why we strive to make your choice as easy as possible. 186 Park Road Dental Practice was established in 1998 and during that time we've built an excellent reputation for providing the latest dental treatment at affordable prices.
Nick Oparvar qualified as a dentist in 1994 from Karolinska Dental School in Stockholm, Sweden. Throughout his years of practice, he has developed his knowledge of dentistry and specifically Implantology, by attending various courses. In 2000 he studied implantology at the Branemark clinic in Gothenburg, Sweden.

If you wish to provide us with medical information or other potentially sensitive data, please contact us directly at the practice. We aim to provide the highest levels of care and patient satisfaction.
Whilst we appreciate that time is a precious commodity for many people, taking the time to visit the dentist twice a year (or as recommended) is essential to make sure that your teeth and gums remain healthy. These check-ups allow us to spot any early signs of dental problems, and treat them where necessary.
Childhood is an important age for developing teeth and, for this reason, it is important to bring your child to 186 Park Road Dental Practice for regular check-ups. As well as the general health of the teeth, we also check to ensure that they are growing evenly and, where they aren't, orthodontic treatment (braces) may be suggested.

It took two dentists and 5 appointments to do my root canal because they didn't want the root canal specialist to do my appointment when I'm not paying. My tooth still hasn't been finished and has now broken. I can't attend anymore appointments as my son was unwell and I missed my appointment, so now I have to register with another practise.
Clearly not a family friendly practice and they think they're too good for people not on a salary.

I'd left it far too long in between appointments after moving to the area so I was quite anxious about my check-up. Dr Nick is a brilliant dentist who really put me at ease and explained everything clearly. The reception team is also very helpful and welcoming.
I'd highly recommend the team here, particularly if (like me) you are a nervous patient.

Without doubt the best dentist I’ve ever been too (and believe me with my Jaws from James Bond mouth I’ve been to a lot) the receptionists are both such lovely happy people and Dr. Nick is helpful, informative and efficient. I got seen too so quickly and barely had to wait two weeks (including bank holiday) to have my two fillings done (I wasn’t kidding about the Jaws mouth) Once your there you don’t have to wait around for after your appointment time to be seen like so many other places (some of those are very close by..). I’m going to start eating more sweets just so I can go again

I had to wait for weeks to have the treatment with an excruciatingly painful tooth - as a new mother I was too vulnerable and exhausted to see another dentist. I have been left with a poorly fitted crown which is unsightly and hard to keep clean (and was expensive). I also have a fear of dentists I never had previously.

I had 4 fillings and a root canal done privately, Dr Nick has done an amazing job I am so petrified of dentists but he reassured me that everything will be fine as my previous dentist had messed up, Also i would recommend to see the hygienist for airflow for anyone who has stains its absolutely brilliant. I would recommend you to see Dr Nick and Sandra they are both amazing!!

I was Nick's patient at the Park Road surgery for many years and had a
number of major and expensive works done including several root canals,
one inlay and one crown. I changed surgery a few years ago but I had to
have two of these teeth taken out, the one with the inlay and the one
with the crown. They both came off, taking with them most of the tooth,
so it was not possible to save them. They were not wisdom teeth and I am
only 50!! Losing my teeth because of terrible work done by Nick is
really upsetting for me. I suggest you stay away from Nick, if you do
not want to be in my position
