Crown thinning is a pruning technique primarily used on hardwood trees. Crown thinning is the selective removal of stems and branches to increase light penetration and air movement throughout the crown of a tree. The intent is to improve a tree's structure and form whilst still retaining its natural beauty making this an ideal technique for gaining more light without causing harm.

We had Kirk's team round this week to remove some trees and reduce / tidy up others, great communication and a fantastic work ethic from his team, really pleased with the results

Just like to put on record my admiration and respect for the team. Tremendously professional and hard working. What blew my mind away was the care and attention taken – this extended to picking up single twigs/ foliage that had been dropped on the lawn as they carted tonnes of wood and branches from the back to the front.
Before leaving they took the time and trouble to walk me around the site to talk me through the work and check that I was all ok with it.

Kirk and his team did a wonderful job removing two trees from our back garden. If you’re looking for a professional team that work hard and give a fair price these are the guys.
They arrived on time and in less than two hours both trees had been cut down and the mess removed.
I don’t mind sharing that we did get a quote from another company in the area who wanted nearly twice as much as Kirk. We felt Kirk’s pricing was very fair and the work was exactly what we asked for so for that reason we would absolutely recommend him.

We have used Kirk and his team on two separate occasions and each time we have been extremely pleased with the service. He is prompt with quotations and always responds to any queries you have as quickly as possible. He and his team do a fantastic job at a great price, are professional when on site and always leave your garden clean and tidy at the end. It is not always easy to find professional and reliable services however I can thoroughly recommend this company for all your garden needs.
