Partspeed are Market Leaders in terms of Quality and Innovation in the Automotive Recycling Industry, to be constantly striving to push this Industry forwards with state of the art systems and processes. We strive to facilitate with the modernisation of this Industry and lose the perception of a dirty, disorganised 'scrap yard', to a slick, clean, modern operation through our professional practices.
Starting with a complete vehicle we firstly photograph the complete car to aid the customer in identifying the correct fitment of components for various models. The car then undergoes full diagnostics to ensure we only remove fully working parts so you can be confident you receive the best quality parts from us.
Any motorist who takes their vehicle to be scrapped legally will be given a Certificate of Destruction, proving that the car has been destroyed. The ATF will also inform the DVLA that you are no longer responsible for the vehicle.
If you don't receive one or your car is not being scrapped then you must complete section three - notification of sale or transfer - of your vehicle registration certificate (V5C) and send it to the DVLA, which will return a letter confirming you no longer have responsibility for the car.Scrapping the car yourself means continuing to tax it or making a Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN).
