There are three beautifully equipped classrooms, each has its own outside area. We have another classroom for Larks and Owls, Music, Dance, Seagulls (holiday times) and more. We have developed The Field to provide planting and digging areas, a mound, a log pile, and more. The Lighthouse is a Christian Montessori school, offering quality childcare and education.

Services
The Lighthouse sessions and the environment are structured in such a way that all the areas of the curriculum, both Montessori and EYFS, are linked and taught throughout the session. We implement much of the Montessori philosophy, but believe that in rural Oxfordshire in the 21st century we must also incorporate other ideas.
There are three funding schemes to pay for childcare and education. This is for children / families with certain eligibility criteria. This is available for all 3 and 4 year olds (the term after their 3rd birthday). This is for 3 and 4 year olds in families where both parents are working and each parent earns between 115 a week to 100,000 a year.
