Thieves and con-artists of the highest order. I've lived here for over 24 years; they demand at least £1000 a year for maintenance and building insurance (£250 for a one bed flat in B31) from me, yet do NOTHING in return, NOTHING, even when simple issues - such as blocked guttering - are repeatedly reported. Shelley Hanley actually REFUSED THREE TIMES to send anyone out. I told her I'd pay privately, then deduct from their next extortionate invoice. 'You can't do that; you have to pay us,' she said. I did exactly what I said.
My paintwork is peeling, the woodwork exposed. I've told them - REPEATEDLY

After sending thousands of pounds to this company for a lease extension, I am continually brushed off about no correspondence from the solicitor handling the lease extension . No response to emails , phone calls total waste of time as nothing progresses . I would like to speak to one of the directors about Ffernail Court

I am a leaseholder in the same development as Ms Rowan-Brooks. I cannot comment on historical issues with Bright Willis but over the recent years that I have been actively involved with Bright Willis I have been impressed with their responsiveness and especially the professionalism of Shelley Hanley, who has been very helpful and accommodating with any issues we have raised with her. Speaking to other leaseholders who have had dealings with BW recently they also have very positive things to say about the service they receive. I also note that the service charge and insurance premium stated by Ms

As a leaseholder and Director of the residents’ co-operative that employs Bright Willis to manage the development referred to by Ms Rowan-Brooks, I need to state in the strongest terms that I cannot support her review. My own experience of working with Bright Willis is very much to the contrary.
Over the course of the last two years, I have worked on behalf of other leaseholders with Bright Willis. Here, they have dealt with all of our issues professionally and amicably and to our mutual satisfaction, mainly through zoom meetings, e mails and conversations with Shelly Hanley, our property manager

Trying to phone office for ages now, not even an answer phone service. Come on it's 2021and I'm paying a fortune for this poor service, also does anyone else think we are being ripped off for building insurance. Surely £718.13 a year on a 2 bed flat in B45 is outrageous....Do they get three quotes for this or are they using the same company because it simply suits the management? I wonder.
