Depending on the circumstances of when a death occurs, different people need to be contacted. If the paramedics have been called, they will contact the Police who will attend and contact a Funeral Director. The person who has died will then be taken to a hospital for the Coroner to investigate. The Coroner will contact the family and discuss everything with you.
Do you want limousines (they seat 7 people) and if so, where do you want to leave from on the day of the funeral?. Would you like us to place funeral notices (i.e. in a local shop) or arrange a notice for the local newspaper?. What do you wish to do with the cremated remains of your loved one?
For example, would you like them to be returned to you, would you like them strewn at the crematorium, or would you like us to arrange a burial plot at a local cemetery on your behalf?.Would you like the donations returned to you so you can forward them to the charity of your choice, or would you like us to do this on your behalf?.

Choosing the perfect memorial for your loved one can be a difficult decision, but with over 30 years of experience we are able to guide you through the process. We can offer advice on the range of memorials available, as well as the design, colour and inscription. When you have decided on the memorial of your choice, it is fixed at the cemetery by our team to comply with current regulations.
A funeral plan allows you to have control over your funeral arrangements and pay for the funeral director's services at today's prices, providing peace of mind for you and your family. Your payment will be held securely in a trust with Golden Charter (the UK's largest independent funeral plan provider) and it is paid out at the time of need.

You don`t relish the time when you have to use John Davies funeral services, but their professionalism, compassion and friendliness helped us have a very special day. They guided us through the whole process and made the day run very smoothly.
